Leopoldo Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilton Guerra in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Adalberto Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leopoldo Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adalberto Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Messias having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Wilton Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Allemoa EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Messias made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Wilton Guerra sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Umberto Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moisés do Nascimento was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Wilton Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Allemoa EC's Wilton Guerra made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 63 minutes, Wilton Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Allemoa EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Cerezo in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Allemoa EC booed when Salgueiro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wilton Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Conrado Cerezo's late challenge caught a Salgueiro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Allemoa EC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Cerezo. Adalberto Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Tinoco in the 93rd minute of play forced Salgueiro AC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilton Guerra struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leopoldo Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Allemoa EC.
