If Sílvio Luiz Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Tróia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Durvalino Tróia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Inetrnacional United-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Azevedo came free, but Manuel Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingazeiras's Bernardo Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Gaúcho in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Gaúcho during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cipriano Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 30th minute, one of Inetrnacional United-RS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inetrnacional United-RS. In the 34th minute, Luís Guilherme Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Ingazeiras's Jaime Cordeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Ramos. Manuel Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Fernando Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Fernando Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Inetrnacional United-RS getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Fernando Passos hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

54 minutes into the game, Jarbas de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inetrnacional United-RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ingazeiras the free kick. Jarbas de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Jaime Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Iuri Baiano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Pimenta. Iuri Baiano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Manuel Ramos came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ingazeiras's Durvalino Tróia. But to his dismay, Durvalino Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Cipriano Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Inetrnacional United-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Tróia came free, but Manuel Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Durvalino Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Ramos. Inetrnacional United-RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durvalino Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Jaime Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Ingazeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Tróia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cipriano Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inetrnacional United-RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Gaúcho scored 4-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Pimenta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingazeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
