When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro Prata made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Frades's Geovânio Neto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Léo Vianna had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Evandro Prata from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 55th minute, Zé Roberto Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Roberto Favoretto during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Roberto Favoretto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Prata in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Léo Vianna saved Frades from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Prata in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Evandro Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Vauzinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Freire to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Paraibano in the 74th minute of play. Léo Vianna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Chico Arantes. 80 minutes into the match, Frades's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Prata came free, but Léo Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbson de Toledo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Vianna. Léo Vianna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Róbson de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Vianna having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Frades had won after a very even match.
