The supporters of Raizama booed when Vauzinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vauzinho's Róbson de Toledo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Evandro Prata was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Vauzinho's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Raizama's Ezequiel Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Vauzinho booed when Raizama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Sílvio Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vauzinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raizama the free kick. A collision led to Vauzinho getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sílvio Marinho hit a great ball. Donatello Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Franklin Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raizama's Franklin Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Raizama from getting a goal against them. Raizama's Ezequiel Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva das Neves in the 38th minute of play forced Vauzinho's goalkeeper Edinho Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Raizama's Doriva das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Baltazar Velloso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Prata to strike the kick off in the second half. If Evandro Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Doriva das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raizama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Vauzinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Paraense to maneuver through the defense. When Raizama's Ezequiel Silveira in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vauzinho's goalie prevented a goal. Evandro Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Fontes having to interfere. With a little luck, Vauzinho's Edinho Jacinto got control of the ball when Doriva das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franklin Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doriva das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Edinho Jacinto made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Prata in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Fontes saved Raizama from getting behind. Valdomiro Freire's late challenge caught a Raizama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdomiro Freire helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Vauzinho got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Freire. In the 94th minute, Evandro Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vauzinho had won after a very even match.
