Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmílson Nunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Assunguy's Edmílson Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Nóbrega in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Severo saved Piracema FC from getting behind. Edmílson Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murilo Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmílson Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Piracema FC's Lenílson Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Nunes in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Severo saved Piracema FC from getting behind. After having played for 21 minutes, Lenílson Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piracema FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmílson Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmílson Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Severo having to interfere. The supporters of Piracema FC booed when Assunguy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmílson Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Murilo Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Assunguy booed when Piracema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Assunguy's Doriva Freitas tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Leandro Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Edmílson Nunes put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Murilo Severo. Leandro Nóbrega might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murilo Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Severo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Luiz Fernando Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Rocha in the 72nd minute of the match. If Edmílson Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match Doriva Freitas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murilo Severo skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Leandro Nóbrega put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Murilo Severo. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Assunguy! Flávio Barreto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Leandro Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Severo having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenílson Rocha's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. Assunguy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
