Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match Eurico Pinheiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chico Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. Manoel Costa's late challenge caught a Itaquatiara SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manoel Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Quiandeua got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Costa. Marcel Lopes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Mumbach in the 14th minute of play forced Itaquatiara SC's goalkeeper Chico Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Quiandeua's Durvalino Ferraz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chico Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Durvalino Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Quiandeua getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Armindo Maciel hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Quiandeua's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu de Godoy came free, but Aírton Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Quiandeua getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Manoel Costa hit a great ball. If Juarês Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Durvalino Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juarês Mumbach to make the kick off. Chico Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Dário Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Erivaldo Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Amadeu de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itaquatiara SC's zone, Juarês Mumbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Fernandes came out of the goal and Juarês Mumbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Ramos having to interfere. Aírton Ramos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amadeu de Godoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play. After 84 minutes, Clemente Alvarenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaquatiara SC and the Quiandeua players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Clemente Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Ferraz in the 92nd minute of play. Erivaldo Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute.
