After 9 played minutes Brococo got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho de Sousa. 11 minutes into the match, Brococo's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Trigo came free, but Elder Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Trigo scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Cauitau SC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alessandro Tinoco hit a great ball. When Brococo's Albertinho da Rocha in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elder Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogério Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Matorin made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Guilherme Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Ramalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Matorin's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Albertinho da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brococo's goalkeeper Elder Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Valladares in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauitau SC's Silas Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cauitau SC from getting a goal against them.
