Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laerte Quirino started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Laerte Quirino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cevadongo's Elias Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Laerte Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moraiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Laerte Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Elias Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Moraiba's Laerte Quirino got a free kick in the 12th minute. Clóvis Silveira hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Armando Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Moraiba getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ulysses Guimarães hit a great ball. Elias Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian da Silveira in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cevadongo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moraiba the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cevadongo's zone, Christian da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Vides came out of the goal and Christian da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvério Mendonça hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Laerte Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Moraiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa de Queirós to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovanni Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Dante in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Cevadongo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Clóvis Silveira hit a great ball. Armando Koehler hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Giovanni Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Mazza in the 65th minute of play. Elias Vides made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Christian da Silveira sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clóvis Silveira during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giovanni Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
