The audience was convinced that Felippe de Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fellipe Fernandes was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Vicente do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Jardel Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Borgueto's zone, Vicente do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Gomes came out of the goal and Vicente do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Felippe de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgueto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Donato hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Felippe de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fellipe Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgueto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felippe de Almeida in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fellipe Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Borgueto's Fellipe Fernandes threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felippe de Almeida, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flavinho Mineiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Fellipe Fernandes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Flavinho Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Fellipe Fernandes made a huge save. In the 41st minute Vicente do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Dalmo Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calamaque AD and the Borgueto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, one of Calamaque AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calamaque AD. Fellipe Fernandes went to the wrong direction when César Santos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Felippe de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Flavinho Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
