Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nilton Romero made the kick off and thus started the match. When Adalberto Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Quartel SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Quartel SS's zone, Hélder Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Paraíba came out of the goal and Hélder Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes of play, Iomere's Nilton Romero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonçalo Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonçalo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Egídio Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Quintal came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Quartel SS's Adalberto Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Adalberto Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 18th minute Egídio Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quartel SS's Adalberto Pinheiro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Nilton Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iomere's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilton Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Iomere's goalkeeper Cristóvão Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Pinheiro. If Egídio Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Adalberto Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quartel SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Hélder Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iomere's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Paraíba having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Tande lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 43 minutes into the game, one of Quartel SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Iomere a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albertinho do Nascimento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quartel SS's Gonçalo Paraíba. 1-2. After the first half Iomere were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adalberto Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. Hélder Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Paraíba having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Hélder Fernandez notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Quartel SS's Gonçalo Paraíba. Gonçalo Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hélder Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute of the match, Hélder Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gonçalo Paraíba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute, Nilton Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hélder Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalberto Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Paraíba having to make a save. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Hélder Fernandez sped through Quartel SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonçalo Paraíba. If Adalberto Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Richard Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quartel SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iomere's Hélder Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adalberto Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Quartel SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. If Adalberto Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristóvão Quintal was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Iomere had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
