In the 32nd minute, Delfim Hames made a precise shot to the right of Gilvan de Toledo. Bugio EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kléber Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delfim Hames's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Fábio de Castro struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Luís Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bugio EC. Baus's Pedro Luís Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio de Castro in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basílio Trancoso's late challenge caught a Bugio EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Trancoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Basílio Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisão Cunha took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Figueiredo. Fábio de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Figueiredo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Hames in the 90th minute of play forced Bugio EC's goalkeeper Gilvan de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Miranda made a great header on Baus's corner, it was just that Bugio EC's Gilvan de Toledo managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Bugio EC booed when Baus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan de Toledo having to interfere. Bugio EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Baus for a fine match.
