Gerson de Sena hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Elivélton de Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton de Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the game, one of Galax FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miguel Ferraz went to the wrong direction when Dráuzio Breckenfeld was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Serafim Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eriberto Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Biguassu FC's Serafim Urbano in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galax FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eriberto Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafim Urbano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Ferraz having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Nunes in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ferraz saved Galax FC from getting behind. Miguel Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Nunes in the 25th minute of the match. Eriberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ferraz having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Ciro Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Serafim Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biguassu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafim Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Duda Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dito Vides fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biguassu FC's protests and gave Dito Vides a yellow card for diving instead. Dito Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ciro Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Duda Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Sarmento was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 0-1 became the score in the 48th minute when Eriberto Nunes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Nunes made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Ciro Sarmento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Duda Félix was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the game, Serafim Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Miguel Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerson de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Galax FC were awarded a corner. Ramón Xavier went to the cornerflag to take it. After 77 minutes of play, Biguassu FC's Serafim Urbano made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egídio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Félix having to interfere. Eriberto Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Miguel Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duda Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Sarmento in the 88th minute of play. In the last second Miguel Ferraz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eriberto Nunes in the 97thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With an all-out effort, Biguassu FC's Miguel Ferraz threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Nunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Biguassu FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
