Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciro Sarmento got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd play minute Zé Paulo Guerra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miguel Ferraz. 1-0. If Ciro Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Sarmento in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Rocha saved Correias from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Correias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Hames to maneuver through the defense. João Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Ferraz came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Correias's Zé Paulo Guerra. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Elivélton de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Correias the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galax FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Dino Pontes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 30 minutes into the match, Egídio Arce notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Correias's João Rocha. João Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciro Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Rocha having to interfere. In the 35th play minute Zé Paulo Guerra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miguel Ferraz. 3-1. Correias's João Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Arce in the 39th minute of play. Egídio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Rocha having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Galax FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Vinícius Peres hit a great ball. João Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Sarmento in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Correias's Zé Paulo Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Miguel Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play, Correias's Zé Paulo Guerra made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Veiga in the 87th minute of play forced Galax FC's goalkeeper Miguel Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
