Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Ferreira started the match with the kick off. Igor Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Alan Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ataque FC's Jorginho Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Igor Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Sousa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breno Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Brodel in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Abreu in the 31st minute of play forced Ataque FC's goalkeeper Eduardo de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eduardo de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Couves getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zé Barral hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Téo Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ataque FC and the Couves players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Ferreira in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ataque FC's Claudinei Sampaio got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Couves's goalkeeper Breno Marinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedrinho Melo lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Couves:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ataque FC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cícero da Silva, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Couves's Breno Marinho. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Sousa in the 66th minute of play forced Couves's goalkeeper Breno Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo de Senna. Ataque FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Reynaldo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo de Senna having to interfere. Ricardinho Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardinho Veloso hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Breno Marinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorginho Brodel's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Igor Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ataque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Couves's Breno Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Brodel in the 81st minute of play. Reynaldo Abreu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 84th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Reynaldo Abreu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Couves's Breno Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Sousa in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Ataque FC's Igor Sousa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Breno Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
