The supporters of Vascão Da Massa booed when Boim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Paulo de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Olívio Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Boim's Breno de Toledo got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Otávio Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vascão Da Massa the free kick. Otávio Seco hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Kiko Ribeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olívio Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vascão Da Massa's Betão Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Vascão Da Massa from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Vascão Da Massa's zone, Betão Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pereira came out of the goal and Betão Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oséas Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Jean Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jean Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vascão Da Massa's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olívio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betão Prado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão Pereira came out and tried to block the shot, but Betão Prado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vascão Da Massa's zone, Betão Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pereira came out of the goal and Betão Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Kléberson Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betão Prado struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Betão Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boim. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Olívio Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Marquez in the 52nd minute of the match. Oséas Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Pereira having to interfere. If Luiz Paulo de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Jean Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boim's Olívio Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Boim's goalkeeper Olívio Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo de Moraes. In the 94th minute, Breno de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Vascão Da Massa players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Boim from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
