Sovaco SS's Zé Carlos Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Soeiro in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Anselmo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If César de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sovaco SS's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edinho do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Juan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sovaco SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gaviaozinho FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
