Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Serginho Paulista kicked off to start the match. Gonçalo Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sapateiro's Gonçalo Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sapateiro from getting a goal against them. If Carlos Eduardo Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Sapateiro got a freekick which was hit by Matías Maia. In the 17th minute, Sapateiro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lino Vander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romário Carioca in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Batista saved Sapateiro from getting behind. With a little luck, Sapateiro's Gonçalo Batista got control of the ball when Lino Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agnaldo Hoffmann made a great header on Caraubas SS's corner, it was just that Sapateiro's Gonçalo Batista managed to reach the ball for a save. If Edgard Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Batista having to interfere. Edgard Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gonçalo Batista made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Lino Vander sent off a good shot on target. Luisão Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lino Vanders short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Gonçalo Batista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute, Caraubas SS's Romário Carioca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gonçalo Batista. Gonçalo Batista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romário Carioca was the one to do the kick off. If Serginho Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Damião having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romário Carioca in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Batista saved Sapateiro from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Furlan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lino Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Batista having to interfere. Romário Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tostão Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Paulista in the 76th minute of play. When Lino Vander came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Caraubas SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Vander couldn't finish the play. Romário Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fabiano Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lino Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gonçalo Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serginho Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Cerezo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Caraubas SS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
