Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Richard Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Fernando de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Richard Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taboinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Laeti's zone, Richard Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Cruz came out of the goal and Richard Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Laeti's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Moura came free, but Pedro Luiz Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taboinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Perivaldo Souza scored to the left of an out of position José Augusto Koehler, making the score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Souza in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando de Queirós hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Perivaldo Souza rounded Taboinha's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Richard Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Perivaldo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Moura in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Laeti getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Perivaldo Souza hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando de Queirós in the 38th minute of the match. Richard Moura struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Luiz Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taboinha. José Augusto Koehler was a little too slow when Chicão Sarmento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perivaldo Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Moura in the 53rd minute of play forced Laeti's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Laeti booed when Taboinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Souza in the 60th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Richard Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Laeti's Pedro Luiz Cruz got control of the ball when Richard Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Perivaldo Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laeti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Richard Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Cruz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Laeti's zone, Fernando de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Cruz came out of the goal and Fernando de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Moura got free with Pedro Luiz Cruz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taboinha's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Laeti had won, even though Taboinha had held more of the ball.
