Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eriberto da Fonseca took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Leblon FC's Alexandre Monteiro got a free kick in the 4th minute. Gernando Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Pinho having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Marola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Eriberto da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marola FC's zone, Eriberto da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi de Carvalho came out of the goal and Eriberto da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marola FC's Gernando Paraense in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leblon FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 played minutes Marola FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Vasconcelos. After 25 played minutes, Leblon FC's Elói Baiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davi de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leblon FC reached it. After 28 played minutes Marola FC got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Eger. When João Francisco Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marola FC's protests and gave João Francisco Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marola FC's João Francisco Cardoso got a free kick in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Paraense in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gernando Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Paraense in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Leblon FC's Edson Ceresso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Marola FC's Olívio Pombal got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gernando Paraense was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gernando Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marola FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gernando Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Claudinei Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marola FC's Gernando Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gernando Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Marola FC's zone, Edson Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi de Carvalho came out of the goal and Edson Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Marola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Eger to maneuver through the defense. Elói Baiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davi de Carvalho. Marola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Claudinei Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio de Alcântara in the 75th minute. When Edson Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Leblon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Ceresso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Marola FC booed when Leblon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Claudinei Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marola FC. Gernando Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Pinho having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Leblon FC could leave the field as winners, despite Marola FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
