After 6 played minutes Marola FC got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Cardoso. In the 7th minute, Gernando Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tales Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio de Alcântara went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sydney Eger hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Caropanatuba's Chiquinho da Mata couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marola FC. Gernando Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Rodrigues having to interfere. With a little luck, Marola FC's Davi de Carvalho got control of the ball when Carlinhos Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tales Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Paraense in the 35th minute of the match. Gernando Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Eger in the 42nd minute of play forced Caropanatuba's goalkeeper Tales Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gernando Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Marola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Paraense couldn't finish the play. Davi de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlinhos Xavier in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gernando Paraense to make the kick off. Tales Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Paraense in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caropanatuba's zone, Egídio de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Rodrigues came out of the goal and Egídio de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gernando Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Délio Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tales Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Paraense's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caropanatuba's goalkeeper Tales Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egídio de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tales Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Marola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Pinho came free, but Davi de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Rodrigues was a little too slow when Gernando Paraense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 79th minute Gernando Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Marola FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Marola FC's Egídio de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Egídio de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Rodrigues having to interfere. Sydney Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Paraense struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tales Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marola FC.
