Floreal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Eriberto da Fonseca scored to the left of an out of position Oséias Messias, making the score, 3-0. Alexandre Monteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oséias Messias. Floreal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luís Fabiano Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Mário Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floreal and the Leblon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Floreal getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. The referee ignored Floreal's protests and gave Mathias Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Leblon FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
