Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cafelandense's Nicolas Terra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Dida Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafelandense's Claudinei Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Motta in the 5th minute of play. Claudinei Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Mesquita in the 8th minute of play. Geovanni Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cafelandense getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Claudinei Machado hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Nicolas Terra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júnior do Nascimento, passed just outside the right post. Claudinei Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Mesquita in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Cafelandense's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar de Amorim came free, but Claudinei Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlinhos de Andrade went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nicolas Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Os Alemon's Júnior do Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Claudinei Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafelandense's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the game, Geovanni Motta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Claudinei Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Os Alemon getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Erik Velasco hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Geovanni Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The Os Alemon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Mesquita to make the kick off. Dito de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Júnior do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Os Alemon's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Terra came free, but Júnior do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Cafelandense's Claudinei Machado made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior do Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júnior do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionísio Castro in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Cafelandense getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Claudinei Machado hit a great ball. Geovanni Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Geovanni Motta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 67th match minute, Cafelandense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Machado to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar de Amorim got free with Claudinei Palmeira in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, João Paulo Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafelandense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Os Alemon the free kick. João Paulo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Os Alemon's Júnior do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionísio Castro in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cafelandense's zone, Geovanni Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Palmeira came out of the goal and Geovanni Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cafelandense's Nicolas Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carlinhos de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Os Alemon's protests and gave Carlinhos de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cafelandense booed when Os Alemon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Erik Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Os Alemon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cafelandense the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Os Alemon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cafelandense:s goal. Cipriano Arruda shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The Os Alemon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Os Alemon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
