After 19 minutes, Sandrinho de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.A.Jeromina and the Mormaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luizinho Teles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Mané Bezerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute, G.A.Jeromina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luizinho Teles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Mormaco booed when G.A.Jeromina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Cláudio Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.A.Jeromina and the Mormaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wanderson Reis made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mormaco's goalkeeper Ramiro Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Bezerra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Reis in the 61st minute of play forced G.A.Jeromina's goalkeeper Mané Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mormaco's zone, Virgílio Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Abraão came out of the goal and Virgílio Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Virgílio Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to G.A.Jeromina getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Aníbal de Amorim hit a great ball. Virgílio Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Lago hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mané Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Marques in the 90th minute of play. G.A.Jeromina's Mané Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Reis in the 92nd minute of play. Virgílio Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ramiro Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
