Geovanni Mangueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Adolfo de Sena. Timburai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Caco Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luizão Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Barral's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Dida Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo de Sena having to interfere. 18 minutes in the game, Dida Bastos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without João Adolfo de Sena having to interfere. If Dorian Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timburai's João Adolfo de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Timburai from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute of the match Simão de Carvalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luizão Travassos skillfully saved the ball. Narciso Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Travassos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Luizão Travassos came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Timburai's Caco Branco. But to his dismay, Caco Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Dorian Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Agenor Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Narciso Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Doni de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timburai's Simão de Carvalho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cocaina FC. Caco Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Travassos having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dida Bastos made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Dorian Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocaina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Juan Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes of play, Cocaina FC's Dorian Palmeira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Adolfo de Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Doni de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cocaina FC's protests and gave Doni de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Doni de Senna hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to Timburai getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Agenor Pena hit a great ball. Dorian Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo de Sena having to interfere. During the 84th minute of the match Juan Castro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juan Castro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Timburai getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Juan Castro hit a great ball. When Dida Bastos got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Cocaina FC. Dida Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo de Sena having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Dida Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Adolfo de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
