Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albertinho Brito took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vítor Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Vale in the 4th minute of play. Giovani Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani Secco struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Vítor Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajueirinho SS. Giovani Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vítor Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Edvaldo Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cajueirinho SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Giovani Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes, Dalmo Loureiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raposa and the Cajueirinho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Raposa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Giovani Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sidney Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Giovani Secco came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cajueirinho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Secco couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Edvaldo Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cajueirinho SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Raposa's Vítor Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Furlan in the 43rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidney Furlan made a kick off. A collision led to Raposa getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ramiro Ceresso hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Giovani Secco made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Valadares. Raposa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Sidney Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Valadares having to interfere. When Cajueirinho SS's Sidney Furlan in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Raposa's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Edvaldo Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajueirinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Dalmo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Albertinho Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertinho Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Raposa got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Brito. Belmiro Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Belmiro Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Nico Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Valadares made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Giovani Secco sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Raposa's zone, Giovani Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Valadares came out of the goal and Giovani Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cajueirinho SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
