Ataleia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederico Cearense hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ian Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos Fernandes to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Gustavo Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ataleia and the Fluminense Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Vâtcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Zonta in the 60th minute of play. Amadeu Toledo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The Ataleia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
