Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oséias do Nascimento started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Mariante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mariante FC's Hernani Soares got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Evandro Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Campidelis having to interfere. Evandro Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jorge Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Cordeiro in the 19th minute of play forced Mariante FC's goalkeeper Léo Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Claudinho Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Evandro Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariante FC's Evandro Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Pedro Arce made a kick off. Claudinho Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Léo Passos made a huge save. In the 56th minute Oséias do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariante FC's Léo Passos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mariante FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Mariante FC booed when Alexandria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo Passos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Cordeiro in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Claudinho Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Léo Passos however easily saved by the left post. Jorge Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias do Nascimento in the 77th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Léo Passos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Dé Oliveira. Alexandria's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
