Nilton de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Barreto in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Fernão Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Hames having to interfere. A collision led to Guareta getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Donato Marinho hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Francisco Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guareta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caieiras FC the free kick. Francisco Arruda hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Caieiras FC booed when Guareta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Furlan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Caieiras FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 23 minutes into the match, Guareta's goal looked a bit too open when David Furlan came free, but Leandro Hames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Furlan in the 26th minute of play forced Guareta's goalkeeper Leandro Hames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caieiras FC's David Furlan got a free kick in the 28th minute. Caio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton de Carvalho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Furlan in the 38th minute of play forced Guareta's goalkeeper Leandro Hames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guareta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when David Furlan scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Hames, making the score, 1-0.

The wind increased when Nico Barreto made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, David Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caieiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerônimo Pires hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Yuri Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Leandro Hames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuri Messias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Hames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Caio Lopes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nilton de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guareta. After 71 played minutes Caieiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Batista. In the 83rd minute Nico Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Guareta's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Messias came free, but Leandro Hames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caieiras FC's Nilton de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Barreto in the 88th minute of play. If Yuri Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Guareta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Arruda to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Yuri Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Hames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
