The supporters of Raiders FC booed when Tangerine FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tangerine FC's zone, Jarbas Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Reis came out of the goal and Jarbas Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Faria in the 20th minute of play forced Tangerine FC's goalkeeper Claudinei Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Claudinei Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Patrick Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Raiders FC's Patrick Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 33rd minute when Jarbas Castro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elói Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jarbas Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raiders FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarbas Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinei Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Faria to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Jarbas Castro lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Claudinei Reis. Jarbas Castro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Faria got free with Claudinei Reis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tangerine FC's Claudinei Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Tangerine FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91stth minute of the game Jarbas Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tangerine FC's Claudinei Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Raiders FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tangerine FC.
