Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Valdir do Valle made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Valdir do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 played minutes Lions got a freekick which was hit by Mané Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Saldanha in the 9th minute of play forced Ferros's goalkeeper Dênis Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Silas Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Rodrigo Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Favoretto in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Ferros's Gustavo Favoretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dinei Mesquita's late challenge caught a Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. Dinei Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Dida Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inácio Moraes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Guto Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Valdir do Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rodrigo Saldanha scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dênis Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dênis Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas Velasco made a kick off. Valdir do Valle took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Quintal. Dênis Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Valdir do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dênis Quintal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When Valdir do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir do Valle couldn't finish the play. If Valdir do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Dênis Quintal made a huge save. Ferros's Dinei Mesquita got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Dinei Mesquita off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ferros's Dinei Mesquita got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes in the game, Valdir do Valle fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dênis Quintal having to interfere. Dênis Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dida Santana's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When Lions's Valdir do Valle in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferros's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Manuel da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions the free kick. A collision led to Ferros getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Manuel da Fonseca hit a great ball. Valdir do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Quintal having to interfere. Rodrigo Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, one of Ferros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferros. Ferros:s Dênis Quintal showed great skill when he stopped Valdir do Valle:s penalty. 75 minutes into the match, Valdir do Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dênis Quintal, 1-4. Gustavo Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vítor Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdir do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Valdir do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dênis Quintal was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. With a little luck, Ferros's Dênis Quintal got control of the ball when Mané Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Lions getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Raphael Guerra hit a great ball. Rodrigo Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir do Valle in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dênis Quintal saved Ferros from getting behind. Dênis Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ferros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lions were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
