Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Andrézinho Furtado was a little too slow when Cristóvão Zilles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Claudinho Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Claudinho Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match, Chico Alves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andrézinho Furtado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. LOCOMOTIVA's Eusébio Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celsinho Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Aguiar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Inimutaba's zone, Eusébio Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Aguiar came out of the goal and Eusébio Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chico Alvess short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Andrézinho Furtado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute, Cristóvão Zilles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Andrézinho Furtado, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Carioca during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cristóvão Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inimutaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Zilles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 61st minute Chico Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Tasso's late challenge caught a LOCOMOTIVA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmir Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. Walmir Tasso hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes in the game Hílton Ceresso after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tomás Aguiar. A very good opportunity. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Celsinho Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOCOMOTIVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inimutaba's Tomás Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Cruz in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Cristóvão Zilles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Zilles struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Andrézinho Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inimutaba. Eusébio Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Eusébio Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Chico Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Carioca got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th minute, Enrique Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inimutaba's Tomás Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Inimutaba from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inimutaba's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
