If Tales Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Elivélton Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aílton Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Batal's goalkeeper Aílton Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elivélton Soeiro. If Elivélton Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Gerber struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Aílton Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xapetuba AD. Elivélton Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aílton Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. When Tales Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Xapetuba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales Gerber couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Xapetuba AD's Tales Gerber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aílton Schmidt. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Elivélton Soeiro let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 24th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. Aílton Schmidt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. After 36 minutes, César Rezende mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Batal and the Xapetuba AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Batal getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. César Rezende hit a great ball. Tales Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Elivélton Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xapetuba AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elivélton Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elivélton Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aílton Schmidt made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 54 played minutes Batal got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Nóbrega. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Soeiro in the 57th minute of play forced Batal's goalkeeper Aílton Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Schmidt having to interfere. In the 61st minute Elivélton Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aílton Schmidt came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Xapetuba AD's Elivélton Soeiro. But to his dismay, Elivélton Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 73 minutes into the match, Xapetuba AD's Tales Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aílton Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Elivélton Soeiro in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 88 minutes into the match, Batal's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Soeiro came free, but Aílton Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo de Azevedo in the 92nd minute of the match. Xapetuba AD's Tales Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xapetuba AD had played much better football throughout.
