Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dé Lago took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Guapore's Dé Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Augusto Mandrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Fernandez got free with Jefferson de Senna in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson de Senna made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Robinho Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Jefferson de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Mesquita in the 26th minute of play. When Fausto Gai fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guapore's protests and gave Fausto Gai a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Guapore getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fausto Gai hit a great ball. Jefferson de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Mesquita in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Araguana SC's zone, Dé Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Mandrak came out of the goal and Dé Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Dé Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Augusto Mandrak. Araguana SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dé Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Roberto Bastos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvaldo Mesquita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roberto Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvaldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson de Senna having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Guapore got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Guimarães. In the 68th minute of the match Zézinho de Carvalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson de Senna skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Guapore's Cacá Lima got a free kick in the 71st minute. Claudinei de Senna struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Carlos Augusto Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guapore. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kiko de Brito got free with Carlos Augusto Mandrak in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 86th minute, Dé Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guapore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 90th minute of the match Roberto Bastos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cacá Lima hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
