Cacá Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dé Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Guapore's Jefferson de Senna got control of the ball when Michel Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinei de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Mattos having to interfere. Cacá Lima's late challenge caught a Agrestina AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agrestina AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Guapore getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fausto Gai hit a great ball. If Claudinei de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Gai in the 83rd minute of play forced Agrestina AD's goalkeeper Vladimir Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Claudinei de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiko de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Guapore lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
