João Abreu's late challenge caught a Pejeu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Eugênio Bastos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Abel Peixoto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ricardinho de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Pejeu SC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Duda Berger hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Jefferson Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ricardinho de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Ceresso made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Eugênio Bastos sent off a good shot on target. WOLFs FC's Márcio Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save WOLFs FC from getting a goal against them. Nuno do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Ceresso having to interfere. Jefferson Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jefferson Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. WOLFs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jefferson Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. WOLFs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, WOLFs FC's Durvalino da Fonseca got a free kick in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Peixoto made a kick off. If Abel Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as WOLFs FC's Jefferson Xavier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardinho de Medeiros. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Abel Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pejeu SC's Ricardinho de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abel Peixoto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardinho de Medeiros came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Peixoto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, WOLFs FC's Laerte Marinho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A well placed Abel Peixoto short distance shot in the 75th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 78 minutes into the match, WOLFs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Bastos came free, but Márcio Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson Xavier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Ricardinho de Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ricardinho de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Peixoto in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jefferson Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. WOLFs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Pejeu SC's zone, Jefferson Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho de Medeiros came out of the goal and Jefferson Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardinho de Medeiros was a little too slow when Jefferson Xavier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-5. WOLFs FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
