Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tibúrcio Sampaio started the match with the kick off. Tibúrcio Sampaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cipriano Lima came out and tried to block the shot, but Tibúrcio Sampaio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Waldir Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Caio das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Tibúrcio Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AMERICA F.C.'s Luiz Gustavo Soeiro in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Furtainha SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes, Denílson Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furtainha SC and the AMERICA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, one of Furtainha SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Furtainha SC. Furtainha SC:s Eusébio Vander showed great skill when he stopped André Luís Guimarães:s penalty. Luiz Gustavo Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Tibúrcio Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furtainha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibúrcio Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tibúrcio Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cipriano Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Furtainha SC's Vitório Damião was substituted for Tibúrcio Sampaio. In the 41st minute, Furtainha SC's Nuno Leão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cipriano Lima. Cipriano Lima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 53rd minute, Luiz Gustavo Soeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eusébio Vander. The goal made the score 3-1. Cipriano Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Vitório Damião notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of AMERICA F.C.'s Cipriano Lima. Cipriano Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Soeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Vander. Furtainha SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Gustavo Soeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. A collision led to AMERICA F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marcus Santos hit a great ball. Caio das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Vander having to interfere. Cipriano Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Jano Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Gustavo Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eusébio Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Santos struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Eusébio Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AMERICA F.C.. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when AMERICA F.C.'s Luiz Gustavo Soeiro in the 84th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eusébio Vander was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Furtainha SC through an amazing save. After taking down the ball on AMERICA F.C.'s corner André Luís Guimarães fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eusébio Vander quite easily take care of the ball. Caio das Neves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 89th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Soeiro in the 93rd minute of play forced Furtainha SC's goalkeeper Eusébio Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Gerber hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Furtainha SC had won after a very even match.
