Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adrianinho Travassos got the match started through his kick off. When Sílvio Luiz Sá fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Outeira's protests and gave Sílvio Luiz Sá a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Outeira getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Sá hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Outeira's zone, Wilton Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademir Furtado came out of the goal and Wilton Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renatinho Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ademir Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilton Arantes in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ademir Furtado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Willian Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrianinho Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, BAHIA FC's Adrianinho Travassos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ademir Furtado. Ademir Furtado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 26th minute, Adrianinho Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Outeira's Carlos Meira got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Willian Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Andrade in the 36th minute of the match. When Adrianinho Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the BAHIA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Travassos couldn't finish the play. Wilton Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BAHIA FC booed when Outeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Outeira's goalkeeper Ademir Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Moreno. The nice shot from Wilton Arantes in the 44thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ademir Furtado had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Outeira's goalkeeper Ademir Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrianinho Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ademir Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrianinho Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josué Paraíba's late challenge caught a BAHIA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josué Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Outeira getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Josué Paraíba hit a great ball. Ademir Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willian Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Guga Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, BAHIA FC's Humberto Faria got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ademir Amaral didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Outeira's Edmílson Meireles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 73 minutes into the match, BAHIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Meireles came free, but Ademir Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ademir Amaral made a huge save. Adrianinho Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianinho Travassos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademir Furtado saved Outeira from getting behind. Wilton Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Willian Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAHIA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademir Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Outeira's zone, Renatinho Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademir Furtado came out of the goal and Renatinho Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Renatinho Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademir Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. There was no doubt that BAHIA FC were the better team. BAHIA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
