The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlinhos Andrade got free with Bruninho Vides in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 9 minutes, Falcão Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Britania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Falcão Sabóia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Bruninho Vides successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmílson Meireles in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruninho Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Outeira booed when Britania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlinhos Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruninho Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Britania's zone, Edmílson Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Vides came out of the goal and Edmílson Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmílson Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Vides having to interfere. Outeira's Carlinhos Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Britania's Bruninho Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Britania from getting a goal against them. Nicolas Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Nicolas Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Outeira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sílvio Luiz Sá in the 46th minute. Outeira's Sílvio Luiz Sá was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruninho Vides in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovânio Neto during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geovânio Neto hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Britania's goalkeeper Bruninho Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlinhos Andrade. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falcão Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruninho Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Andrade in the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josué Paraíba during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Outeira's Josué Paraíba got a free kick in the 60th minute. Falcão Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Paraíba got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 63rd minute, Josué Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Britania's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Andrade came free, but Bruninho Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Britania's Falcão Pereira got a free kick in the 68th minute. Carlos Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruninho Vides having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Britania's zone, Carlinhos Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Vides came out of the goal and Carlinhos Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovânio Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademir Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Outeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Meira to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Paiva's shot from long distance in the 84th minute was not bad at all, but Outeira's Ademir Furtado knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Outeira's Ademir Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Outeira from getting a goal against them. In the 88thth minute of the game Carlinhos Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Britania's Bruninho Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Britania's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Meireles came free, but Bruninho Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Outeira had been in control for most of the match, Britania still came away with the win.
