After a defensive mix-up in Marajá do Sena A.C.'s zone, Aníbal Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan Fernandez came out of the goal and Aníbal Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Váldson Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murillo Vargas during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marajá do Sena A.C.'s Murillo Vargas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. One of Marajá do Sena A.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fao:s goal. The goalkeeper, Renan Fernandez, was totally fooled by Fao's Roberto Bastos, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Renan Fernandez came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Fao's César Custódio. But to his dismay, César Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 43rd minute, Maurinho Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marajá do Sena A.C.'s Renan Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Marajá do Sena A.C. from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Aníbal Diniz made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, César Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fao's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Fernandez was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Marajá do Sena A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Diniz came free, but Renan Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Diniz scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renan Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. César Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Renan Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renan Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Custódio in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Aníbal Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marajá do Sena A.C.'s Renan Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th match minute, Marajá do Sena A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Senna to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Renan Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fao walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
