Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Leandro da Costa made the kick off and thus started the match. Leandro da Costa struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Tostão Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ianatama. After some careless play in the Paracambuca defense, Hermínio Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Loyola. The Paracambuca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Loyola should have stopped the shot. David Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Dudu Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Peres was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Paracambuca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Leandro da Costa scored to the left of an out of position Tostão Loyola, making the score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro da Costa in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Loyola saved Paracambuca from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Paracambuca got a freekick which was hit by Silas Leão. In the 28th minute Fabrício Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Washington Vasconcelos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Peres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Paracambuca's zone, Silvério Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tostão Loyola came out of the goal and Silvério Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Paracambuca's Tostão Loyola got control of the ball when Silvério Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Loyola having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dudu Toscano to make the kick off. Tostão Loyola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Torres's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Tostão Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ianatama's Reinaldo Neto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Fabrício Lara had several of the Ianatama's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed David Peres as he didn't even see the shot coming. Silvério Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leandro da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ianatama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro da Costa couldn't finish the play. David Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dudu Toscano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ianatama had played much better football throughout.
