Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fachinal SS's Carlos Fernando Madureira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fachinal SS's Luisinho Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro da Costa in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Elói Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes of play, Ianatama's Silvério Amorim made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisinho Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leandro da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ianatama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro da Costa couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes, Ianatama's Jacinto Perez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisinho Baptista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ianatama reached it. In the 38th match minute, Fachinal SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ianatama's zone, Tião de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Peres came out of the goal and Tião de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tião de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of David Peres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Reinaldo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ianatama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Neto couldn't finish the play. Silvério Amorim struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Luisinho Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ianatama. Leandro da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Baptista having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Carlos Fernando Madureira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ianatama's Walmyr Queiroz got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ianatama's zone, Carlos Fernando Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Peres came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gino Cerezo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Leandro da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisinho Baptista made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Silvério Amorim sent off a good shot on target. David Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fachinal SS's zone, Silvério Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ianatama's Enio Quadros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luisinho Baptista but with some difficulty. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ianatama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
