Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Gustavo Zanette got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubinho Quintal during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, one of Corinthians Pernambucano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corinthians Pernambucano. Leandro da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pedrão de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrão de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jacinto Perez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adalberto Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adalberto Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. David Peres came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians Pernambucano's Luiz Gustavo Zanette. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Corinthians Pernambucano's Pedrão de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians Pernambucano from getting a goal against them. When Leandro da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ianatama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro da Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute of the match, Leandro da Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedrão de Salles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedrão de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrão de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ianatama booed when Corinthians Pernambucano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Silvério Amorim made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Corinthians Pernambucano's Pedrão de Salles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corinthians Pernambucano's goalkeeper Pedrão de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro da Costa was the one to do the kick off. Corinthians Pernambucano's Pedrão de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro da Costa in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Corinthians Pernambucano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Amorim struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Pedrão de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ianatama. In the 65th minute Leandro da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Amorim in the 89th minute of play. If Walmyr Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 100th minute of the match Enio Quadros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrão de Salles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corinthians Pernambucano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ianatama.
