Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Horácio Cordeiro started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, SANTOS's Silas Custódio got control of the ball when Matheus Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AD Schlaps! In the 11th minute, Wiliam de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Benjamim Pirani. AD Schlaps's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Benjamim Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind AD Schlaps's goalkeeper Benjamim Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamim Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute Horácio Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. AD Schlaps's Sílvio Luiz Sena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SANTOS. Silas Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Quaresma hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Horácio Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Wiliam de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam de Lima in the 37th minute of play forced AD Schlaps's goalkeeper Benjamim Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luiz Sena, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Horácio Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamim Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in AD Schlaps's zone, Wiliam de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Pirani came out of the goal and Wiliam de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiliam de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Pirani having to interfere. Horácio Cordeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wiliam de Lima in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamim Pirani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Matheus Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamim Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Cordeiro in the 86th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Horácio Cordeiro in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Horácio Cordeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamim Pirani. That made the score 0-2 in the 97 minute of play. SANTOS played a much better game than AD Schlaps and deserved their victory. The AD Schlaps players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
