Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Horácio Galvão kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Buchicho's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Alvarenga came free, but Willian Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Alvarenga in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, Buchicho's Willian Miranda got control of the ball when Chicão Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Fonseca came free, but Edgard Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Chicão Linares came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chicão Linares couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Linares in the 29th minute of play forced Buchicho's goalkeeper Willian Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Soares's late challenge caught a Flamengo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo Soares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Olavo Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Miranda having to interfere. 38 minutes in the game, Chicão Linares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Willian Miranda having to interfere. If Chicão Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Buchicho's Olavo Soares got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Adalmo Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgard Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipe Santos in the 53rd minute. Willian Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Germano Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willian Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Chicão Linares scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renato Botelho hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Délio Pitta's late challenge caught a Buchicho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Willian Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flamengo had played much better football throughout.
