Giuseppe Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giuseppe Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. Bebeto Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cícero Amaral in the 22nd minute. Cristian de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Martins in the 26th minute of play. Giuseppe Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Oitiva were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
