Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerson Guerra got the match started through his kick off. Gerson Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Décio das Neves having to make a save. 4 minutes into the match, Tempera SC's goalkeeper Décio das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Viana. Gerson Guerra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carlos Alberto Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Décio das Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Etiópia FC's Gerson Guerra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fábio Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Décio das Neves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldo da Cunha's late challenge caught a Tempera SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Vander in the 16th minute of play forced Etiópia FC's goalkeeper Tiaguinho da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Etiópia FC defense, Zé Paulo Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho da Mata. The Etiópia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho da Mata should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gerson Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Décio das Neves was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Tiaguinho da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldão Linares went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Giovanni Gerber hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Viana got free with Décio das Neves in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Alberto Viana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Décio das Neves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gerson Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerson Guerra in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Alberto Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Décio das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Willian Miranda's late challenge caught a Etiópia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Paulo Vander to make the kick off. With a little luck, Etiópia FC's Tiaguinho da Mata got control of the ball when Ronaldão Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiaguinho da Mata made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ronaldão Linares sent off a good shot on target. Gerson Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Gerson Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Etiópia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Alberto Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio das Neves having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio das Neves came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Etiópia FC's Gerson Guerra. But to his dismay, Gerson Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Etiópia FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
