Válter Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Davi Massa came out and tried to block the shot, but Válter Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Davi Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Mendes in the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Entremontes AD's Válter Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davi Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernandão Dantas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pituna EC booed when Entremontes AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Fabiano de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pituna EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovani Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Paulista in the 31st minute of the match. Rafinha Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Geovani Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandão Dantas was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 37th minute, Fernandão Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafinha Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Geovani Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pituna EC's Álvaro Sena got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Rafinha Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Simão having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rafinha Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituna EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafinha Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovani Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pituna EC's Rafinha Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rafinha Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituna EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafinha Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Entremontes AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rafinha Paulista 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. With a little luck, Entremontes AD's Geovani Simão got control of the ball when Fabiano de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Simão having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Fabiano de Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovani Simão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Fabiano de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovani Simão having to make a save. Fabiano de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Geovani Simão made a huge save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Rafinha Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Entremontes AD's Geovani Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Entremontes AD getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tiaguinho Arruda hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Pituna EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Entremontes AD.
