After a defensive mix-up in Jaracatia's zone, Olo Butar-butar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Sá came out of the goal and Olo Butar-butar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olo Butar-butar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When Olo Butar-butar came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Caracuru FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olo Butar-butar couldn't finish the play. Marcelinho Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Peres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. Felippe Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Marcelinho Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serginho de Senna in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Caracuru FC's Marcelinho Linares got control of the ball when Serginho de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serginho de Senna scored 2-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelinho Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caracuru FC's Cássio Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cássio Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Caracuru FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Favoretto. In the 62nd minute, Gregorie Daniels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Dráuzio Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Caracuru FC's zone, Lenílson Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Linares came out of the goal and Lenílson Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
