Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelo Figueiredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Angelo Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fênix FC! The goalkeeper, Serginho Porto, was totally fooled by Sopa's Juarês Barbosa, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Severino das Neves took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Serginho Porto to make any attempt to save it. In the 26th match minute, Sopa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Hortêncio da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serginho Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hortêncio da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the game, Juarês Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sopa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fênix FC the free kick. In the 44th minute, Giovanni Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sopa's zone, André Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Couto came out of the goal and André Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Giovanni Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kléberson Couto was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sopa's zone, André Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Couto came out of the goal and André Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovanni Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Couto having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Serginho Porto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Sopa's Severino das Neves. But to his dismay, Severino das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Serginho Porto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sopa's Hortêncio da Costa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Giovanni Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Couto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Luiz Melo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 69 minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, Fênix FC's Giovanni Prata made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the game, Sopa's Hortêncio da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serginho Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. When Giovanni Prata came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Fênix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Prata couldn't finish the play. Kléberson Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Melo in the 92nd minute of the match. Giovanni Prata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Kléberson Couto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Giovanni Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléberson Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovanni Prata in the 99th minute. Many of Fênix FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fênix FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Sopa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
