Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, EVC Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Berger came free, but Flavinho Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Augusto Senna struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Nico Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EVC Clube. Forninho's Nico Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Trigo in the 8th minute of play. Nico Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With his leg Nico Mesquita managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when EVC Clube's Zé Augusto Senna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Paulo Miranda during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Paulo Miranda hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Zé Augusto Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. EVC Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Augusto Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, EVC Clube's Luisão Vergílio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Francisco de Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavinho Mesquita. EVC Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Custódio Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Custódio Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Custódio Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Benê Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nico Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavinho Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Dantas in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Juarês Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, João Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Nico Mesquita. Forninho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Galvão in the 32nd minute of play forced EVC Clube's goalkeeper Flavinho Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cauã Galvão went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Benê Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nico Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zé Augusto Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo Miranda got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Luiz Paulo Miranda hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Augusto Senna made a kick off. Forninho's Nico Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Senna in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Senna in the 55th minute of play forced Forninho's goalkeeper Nico Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Mesquita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juarês Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. If Zé Augusto Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durvalino Berger in the 67th minute. Juarês Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Zé Augusto Senna put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nico Mesquita. Flavinho Mesquita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from César Leite. Nico Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Augusto Senna's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Juarês Sá was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd match minute, EVC Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Sá to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Berger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavinho Mesquita having to make a save. EVC Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
